CHICAGO – The UIC volleyball team (15-12/7-4 Horizon League) faces Milwaukee (8-16/3-7 Horizon League) Friday inside the Klotsche Center in Milwaukee, Wis., at 7:00 p.m. (CT), followed by Green Bay (13-11/4-6 Horizon League) Saturday inside the Kress Center in Green Bay, Wis., at 2:00 p.m.
SCOUTING THE FLAMES UIC (15-12/7-4 Horizon League) … Kelsey Safranek leads the team offensively with 311 kills on the season, trailed closely by Aubrey Sniegowski with 284 (.268) … Janise Dismuke exceeds the team defensively with 104 blocks, followed by Sara Sternard at 71 … Maggie Strus has earned 496 digs … MaryKate Imrie has dished out 1,107 assists.
SCOUTING THE PANTHERS Milwaukee (8-16/3-7 Horizon League) … the Panthers have lost five of their last six matches … two of the matches were at home, while the the other three were on the road … Julie Kolinske dominates the squad in kills with 346, followed by Elizabeth Egerer with 220 (.150) … Kayla Price has dished out 544 assists … Anna Bartz leads the team in digs with 416.
SCOUTING THE PHOENIX Green Bay (13-11/4-6 Horizon League) … the Phoenix have won two of their last three matches … they defeated Milwaukee (3-1), Youngstown State (3-2), while dropping to Cleveland State (3-0) … Carmen Leitermann paces the team with 263 kills, followed closely by Monica Anderson with 257 … Brittany Groth leads the squad defensively with 568 digs … Katie Mroczenski has pitched in with 107 blocks.

MaryKate Imrie Imrie averages 11.0 assists per set, the highest in the league … she is currently tied for second in the Horizon League in double-doubles alongside Heidi Splinter of Wright State with 15, behind Julie Kolinske of Milwaukee with 16 … Imrie also ties for first in the league for most assists in a single match with 61, which she collected against Milwaukee on October 6.
Janise Dismuke Dismuke has the two highest attack percentages in a single match … she had a .812 attack percentage against Eastern Illinois on October 3 … the other came against Wright State on September 22 at .762.
STREAKING FLAMES Since Schumacher-Cawley took over the UIC volleyball program prior to the 2009 season, her team has posted three five-match winning streaks … in 2009, it began with a victory over Chicago State (3-0) on October 20 and extended until a victory over Cleveland State (3-2) on October 31 … during the 2011 season, the five-match winning streak began as the team defeated Chicago State (3-0) on September 19 and ended as the team downed Wright State (3-0) on October 1 … this season, UIC went on a five-match winning streak … the run began on October 3 as UIC defeated Eastern Illinois, 3-0, and continued through October 19 when the Flames swept Wright State.
LAST TIME OUT The Flames faced Youngstown State October 27 and swept the Penguins (25-16, 27-25, 25-15) … Safranek led the way by knocking down 14 kills … Allgood posted a double-double with 10 kills and 10 digs … Dismuke chipped in with 12 kills.
