UIC vs. Loyola Match Notes Get Acrobat Reader

Chicago, Ill. - The UIC volleyball team heads to Loyola on Saturday night with a four-match winning streak on the line.

The Flames (11-12, 4-6) face the Ramblers (15-7, 5-6) at Alumni Gym at 7 p.m.

Loyola leads the series, 35-24, following a five-set win over UIC on Oct. 26 at the Flames Athletic Center.

The Flames have won four straight contests in the past two weeks, including two Horizon League matches.

UIC swept Western Illinois on Oct. 21 in Macomb, Ill. Katerina Hanackova recorded her ninth double-double of the season against the Westerwinds with 14 kills and 15 digs.

With the win over WIU, the Flames rank 45th in the country in digs (15.73 dps).

Loyola is coming off a five-set win over Cleveland State on Oct. 18. Sarah Singer owns a team-best 2.92 kills per set, while Colleen Francis leads the team in blocks with 0.88 per set.

UIC faces Wright State in Dayton, Ohio on Saturday, Nov. 1 in its final regular-season road match.
