Chicago, Ill. - UIC volleyball continues its road slate and heads to Wisconsin this weekend to face Green Bay and Milwaukee. The Flames square off against the Phoenix on Friday, Oct. 12 at 7:00 p.m., followed by a 4:00 p.m. matchup versus Milwaukee on Saturday, Oct. 13.

UIC leads the series, 26-12, against Green Bay, while Milwaukee owns a 14-match lead (29-15) over the Flames.

The Flames (10-10, 3-5) are looking to rebound after falling to Youngstown State and Cleveland State on the road last weekend.

Junior Christin Hunt has been guiding UIC in league contests with 3.11 kills per game and a .264 attack percentage. Sophomore Lana Lobdell owns a team-best 0.83 blocks per game and freshman Taylor Szatkowski averages a team-high 3.77 digs per game.

Green Bay (4-13, 2-6) is coming off consecutive losses against Milwaukee and Valparaiso. The Phoenix are paced on offense by Liesel Tesch with 4.39 kills per game in conference matches.

Cleveland State snapped Milwaukee's (16-2, 7-1) 14-match winning streak on Sept. 29. The conference leaders bounced back with victories over Green Bay and Valpo at home last weekend. Natalie Schmitting powers the Panthers at the net with 1.11 blocks per game in league contests.

UIC battles crosstown foe Loyola on Friday, Oct. 19 and Bradley on Monday, Oct. 22 before returning home for re-matches against Youngstown State and Cleveland State.
