UIC Match Notes Get Acrobat Reader

Chicago, Ill. - The UIC volleyball team faces Milwaukee at the Klotsche Center on Wednesday, Oct. 8 at 7 p.m.

UIC enters the match 6-10 overall and 1-4 in league play, while the Panthers are 10-5 overall and 3-1 in the Horizon League.

UIC earned its third sweep of the season on Sunday afternoon after downing Quinnipiac in three sets at the Flames Athletic Center. UIC recorded a season-high .326 attack percentage and totaled 10 service aces in the win.

The Flames also held Quinnipiac to a negative clip in the third set, allowing the Bobcats to score just seven points.

Casie Sullivan ranks ninth in the league with 2.86 kills per set. Outside hitter Katerina Hanackova is third in the league with 0.36 service aces per set.

Milwaukee will be looking to recover from a five-set loss to Green Bay on the road on Oct. 4. The Panthers' Becky Peters ranks second in the league with 3.92 kills per set.

UIC continues its three-match road slate with contests against Valparaiso and Butler this weekend.
