Chicago, Ill. - After three straight home matches, the UIC volleyball team heads to Ohio to face two Horizon League opponents this weekend. The Flames battle Cleveland State on Friday, Oct. 5 at 6:00 p.m., followed by a 1:00 p.m. matchup against Youngstown State on Saturday, Oct. 6.

UIC enters this weekend's play 10-8 overall and 3-3 in conference action. Cleveland State is 12-5 overall and 5-1 in Horizon League play, while Youngstown State is 7-10 overall and 1-5 in conference action.

The Flames are looking to feed off a five-game win over Butler on Oct. 3 in this weekend's competition.

On the season, sophomore Katerina Hanackova leads the charge with 3.48 kills per game. Sophomore Lana Lobdell paces the team with a .282 attack percentage and 54 blocks.

CSU and YSU are each coming off impressive victories over Valparaiso this past week.

UIC continues its road slate with matches against Green Bay and Milwaukee on Oct. 12 and 13.
