Volleyball Heads To Ohio To Face Two Horizon League Opponents

UIC Volleyball Game Notes in PDF Format Chicago, Ill. - After three straight home matches, the UIC volleyball team heads to Ohio to face two Horizon League opponents this weekend. The Flames battle Cleveland State on Friday, Oct. 5 at 6:00 p.m., followed by a 1:00 p.m. matchup against Youngstown State on Saturday, Oct. 6. UIC enters this weekend's play 10-8 overall and 3-3 in conference action. Cleveland State is 12-5 overall and 5-1 in Horizon League play, while Youngstown State is 7-10 overall and 1-5 in conference action. The Flames are looking to feed off a five-game win over Butler on Oct. 3 in this weekend's competition. On the season, sophomore Katerina Hanackova leads the charge with 3.48 kills per game. Sophomore Lana Lobdell paces the team with a .282 attack percentage and 54 blocks. CSU and YSU are each coming off impressive victories over Valparaiso this past week.
