    MILWAUKEE -The UIC volleyball team (16-12/8-4 Horizon League) defeated Milwaukee, 3-1 (20-25, 25-20, 28-26, 25-17) Friday inside the Klotsche Center. Four members of the Flames squad posted double-digit kills on the night.

    "Milwaukee is a great program that has a strong winning tradition," head coach Katie Schumacher-Cawley. "We played hard tonight, and were able to come away with the win after pulling together as a team and fighting to earn points."

    Nicole Allgood and MaryKate Imriecollected their third consecutive double-double match. Allgood had 13 kills and 19 digs, while Imrie dished out 53 assists and earned 11 digs. Imrie's double-double is her 16th of the season.

    Kelsey Safranek also posted a double-double as she hammered down 19 kills to tie her season-high, while also collecting 15 digs. Janise Dismuke and Aubrey Sniegowskiboth captured 12 kills apiece.

    Maggie Strus collected 17 digs in the victory.

    The Flames dropped the opening set in a 25-20 decision, before winning the next three frames 25-20, 28-26, 25-17.

    The Flames return to action Saturday at 2:00 p.m. (CT) against Green Bay.
