Indianapolis, Ind. - The UIC volleyball team suffered a 3-0 loss to Butler on Sunday afternoon at Hinkle Fieldhouse.

Katerina Hanackova led UIC's offense with 13 kills. Libero Emily Schaffer totaled a team-best 10 digs, while Epiphany Davis guided the Flames at the net with six blocks.

Jessica Wolfe registered a double-double for the Bulldogs with 11 kills and 12 digs.

The Flames trailed by just one point late in set one before Butler went on a 6-1 run to take a 1-0 match advantage.

Down 21-17 in the second set, Butler sparked a 7-2 burst in the final frame for the win. The Bulldogs held UIC to a .043 attack percentage in set three to clinch the sweep (25-19).

UIC hosts Bradley on Tuesday, Oct. 14 at 7 p.m.
