    Indianapolis, Ind. - IUPUI continued to make life on the road hard for the University of Illinois at Chicago volleyball team, handing the Flames their 12th-consecutive loss away from home with a 30-26, 16-30, 30-19, 31-29 non-conference victory at IUPUI Gymnasium on Tuesday evening.

    IUPUI's Casey Chrzastowski paced the offensive attack for the Jaguars with a match-high, 18 kills, followed by both DeAnna Pflum (14 kills) and Michelle Sobocinski (13 kills, 16 digs).

    With the victory, IUPUI improves to 7-12 overall, while the Flames fall to 5-13 on the season.

    Senior outside hitter Jordan Studzinski led the Flames with a double-double of 16 kills and 15 digs, while senior middle hitters Megan Hoffman (14 kills) and Kristi Herrington (12 kills, blocks) each turned in impressive efforts.

    UIC was on the attack all night long as they tallied 180 attempts to the Jaguars' 151. IUPUI, however, was up to the task as the Jaguars posted 71 digs on the evening. IUPUI's Erin Jones led four Jaguars' players in double-digit digs with a match-high 18.

    UIC will be back in action on Friday evening, as they will travel to Rogers Park to square off with crosstown and Horizon League rival, Loyola, at 7:00 p.m.
