Northern Illinois Rolls Past Volleyball, 30-12, 30-24, 30-23|

DeKalb, Ill. - Northern Illinois' Tera Lobdell posted a double-double of 18 kills and 10 digs to lift the host Huskies to the 30-12, 30-24, 30-23 non-conference victory over the University of Illinois at Chicago volleyball team at Victor E. Court on Tuesday evening.
Lobdell finished the evening with a hitting percentage of .469 (18 kills, 3 errors, 32 attacks).
Northern Illinois' Corinne Walsh (.538 hitting percentage) and Kate McCullagh each chipped in eight kills in the Huskies' victory.
With the victory, Northern Illinois improves to 2-3 on the campaign, while the Flames drop to 2-4 overall.
UIC struggled all night long as the Flames finished with a -.028 hitting percentage (27 kills, 30 errors, 109 attacks), while the Huskies thrived with a .302 hitting percentage (49 kills, 17 errors, 106 attacks).
Northern Illinois was also strong at the net as they finished with 10 team blocks.
Sophomore middle hitter Megan Colins led the Flames with seven kills and five blocks (1 solo) on the evening.
UIC will be back in action on Friday evening, as they will travel to Rogers Park to take on DePaul at 5:00 p.m. in the opening match of Loyola's Chicago Challenge.
