Volleyball Breezes Past Delaware State, 30-21, 30-23, 30-12

Memphis, Tenn. - University of Illinois at Chicago senior outside hitter Jordan Studzinski tallied a double-double with a career-high, 16 kills and 12 digs to help the Flames' volleyball team breeze past Delaware State, 30-21, 30-23, 30-12, in their second match of the Memphis Invitational at the Elma Roane Fieldhouse on Friday afternoon.
With the victory, UIC improves to 2-1 overall, while Delaware State falls to 1-3 on the campaign.
Sophomore middle hitters Megan Colins and Ambria Springer each turned in impressive efforts for the Flames, posting nine kills apiece. The duo combined for a hitting percentage of .316 (18-6-38) on the afternoon.
Rosie Lanphere topped Delaware State with 10 kills on the afternoon.
UIC will be back in action on Saturday afternoon, as they will take on Alabama A&M at 2:00 p.m. for their third match of the tournament.
