It's the home opener for the Flames, which means it's time to have some fun. All fans who attend wearing Spandex will receive a complimentary bag of popcorn from Sodexo. That's right, it's Sodexo Spandex Night. You can be just like a volleyball player with spandex and get popcorn, too! Students, it's also a FREE FURY T-Shirt pick-up night.

It's the annual "Wear the Letters Cookout" for UIC students. Beginning at 6:15, UIC students can enjoy FREE food courtesy of the Flames.

It's good to be tall on "Vertically Gifted Day" at UIC Volleyball. All fans taller than UIC middle blocker Lana Lobdell (6-foot-1) will receive a complimentary ticket.

UIC vs. Chicago State

It's RED OUT time against a city rival. The first 100 students to come through the gates will receive a limited-edition RED OUT T-Shirt. And, after the volleyball tilt all fans are encouraged to attend the UIC soccer game at 7 PM as the Flames host Western Illinois for "Scarf Night".

Each year the UIC volleyball team attempts to increase awareness about the dangers of breast cancer. 2009 is no different--but the Flames will host the inaugural "Save Second Base Day". More details to follow.

Costume Contest time at the Flames Athletic Center! The top three student costumes will receive fabulous prizes from UIC Athletics. In addition, candy will be available for all fans and complimentary toothbrushes to all kids. Trick-or-Treat with the Flames!
