Chicago, Ill. - Following a weekend off from competition, the UIC cross country team heads down to Peoria, Ill. for the 2008 Bradley Classic on Friday, Oct. 17.

Hosted by the Braves, the annual event will be held at the Newman Gold Course. The women's event is set to start at 4:15 p.m., followed by the men's race at 5 p.m.

Senior Alex Sutphen led the Flames and finished 37th at the Notre Dame Invitational on Oct. 3 , while freshman Toni Ogundare earned a 5K course time of 19:01 to pace the women's squad.

UIC's next stop is the 2008 Horizon League Championships in Green Bay, Wis. on Saturday, Nov. 1.
