    The 2013-14 academic year featured exceptional accomplishments for UIC student-athletes.     Moment: Ehrhardt Earns Athlete of the Year, Ehrhardt and Zaiter named to All-League First Team

    QUICK RECAP

    The women’s team secured second place against nine teams at the Horizon League Championships. Junior Tess Ehrhardt highlighted UIC’s performance as she took home top honors in the women’s race and was crowned Women’s Athlete of the Year. Junior Rebecca Zaiter joined Ehrhardt on the All-League first team. 


     

     

    LARGER PICTURE

    - Ehrhardt was named Horizon League Runner of the Week for three consecutive weeks in a row and was named Horizon League Scholar of the Month in November.
    - Ehrhardt took home first-place with a time of 18:11.17 at the College of DuPage Invitational and also competed in the Illinois Intercollegiate Championships placing fifth of 79 runners with a time of 17:44.01.
    - Zaiter took home sixth-place at the Horizon League Championship with a time of 18:47.56.
    - Zaiter set a career best this past season at the UW-Parkside Lucian Invite clocking in at 18:48.
