CHICAGO, Ill. – Juniors Tess Ehrhardt and Seyi Ogunleye have been named Horizon League Runner and Athlete of the Week, respectively, as announced by the conference on Tuesday.

Ehrhardt picks up her first Horizon League accolade of the outdoor track season following her performance in the 3,000-meter run at the Benedictine Twilight April 26. She set a personal record and broke another school record after she crossed the finish line more than 20 seconds faster than her nearest opponent, clocking in with a time of 9:51.85.

Ogunleye garnered Athlete of the Week honors for the third time in his career after competing at the Benedictine Twilight.  He took home top honors in the men’s triple jump, defeating 11 competitors and recording a mark of 14.03 meters.

The Flames return to action on Friday as they travel to Youngstown State for the Horizon League Championships.
