CHICAGO - The UIC men's and women's track and field teams will wrap up the 2012 Indoor campaign this weekend (Feb. 25-26), when the Flames take part in the annual Horizon League Indoor Track & Field Championships at the Watson and Tressel Training Site in Youngstown, Ohio.

Last year, the women's team placed sixth overall in the field, when the men's squad finished seventh. The Flames have competed in seven events this winter, including last weekend's Panther Tune-Up, where UIC went head-to-head in several events against Horizon League member Milwaukee.

"We've had a lot of great performances during the Indoor season, the women's team has set five school records, and Matt Zaluckyj set one of the oldest school records in the books in the 800," said head coach Jim Knoedel. "We're excited about where we're at heading into this weekend."

The Horizon League Network will feature live video on both days, beginning at 3 p.m. CST on Saturday, and at noon on Sunday. Live scoring will also be available.
