Men's Results Get Acrobat Reader

Women's Results Get Acrobat Reader

Chicago, Ill. - The men's and women's cross country teams both finished in fourth place at the 2008 Horizon League Cross Country Championships at the Cofrin Memorial Arboretum Trails on the campus of Green Bay on Saturday.

Butler claimed the men's title, while Loyola claimed the top spot on the women's side.

Alex Sutphen was named to the Second-Team All-Horizon League team after finishing in tenth place with an 8K course time of 25:43.

Sam Kehoe came in behind Sutphen in 15th place (26:00). Brian Denk finished in 22nd place (26:36), followed by Mark Riggs (26:47) and Roger Pinon (27:10).

Kristen Heckert earned Second-Team All-Horizon League honors with an 11th-place finish (19:05) in the 5K event.

Toni Ogundare finished in 17th place with a course time of 19:15, followed Danyelle Somerfield (19:18), Mary Brennan (20:16) and Maritza Gomez (20:36).

The NCAA Regional meet is set for Saturday, Nov. 7 in Stillwater, Oklahoma at 11:00 a.m.
