ELMHURST, Ill. - Numerous event wins for the UIC track and field teams propelled the Flames to the women's team title while the men's squad finished second.

The women's team ranked first out of 10 teams with 143 points, while the men stood in second with 161.5 points, behind winner Harper (182 points).

Lauren Fogarty had a successful outing on Saturday, winning the 200 in 26.98 and the long jump with a 5.37m effort. Toni Ogundare took control of the 1500, winning in 4:57.83.

The Schuh sisters' took command of the hurdles, with Aimee winning the 100 in 15.78 and Kellie taking the 400 low's in 1:06.47.

On the men's side, Matt Zaluckyj lead a 1-2-3 Flames finish in the 800 in 1:56.13, leading Brandon Stoffregren (1:56.99) and Lewis Brown (1:57.64) over the 17-person field.

Matt Morse won the 5k by over 15 seconds in 15:02.09 and Andy Wall claimed victory in the 110 hurdles (15.58). Nic Aubert eeked out a .3 second victory in the 3k steeple, winning in 10:14.40.

In the field events, Wall took first in the high jump (2.03m), Mike Savegnago claimed victory in the pole vault (4.78m). a Both the men's and women's teams return to action at the Chicagoland Invitational next weekend.
