    CHICAGO- Toni Ogundare's two sprint victories highlighted a six-win day for the UIC women's track and field team at the 2009 Viking Classic hosted by North Park University.

    Ogundare won the 200-meter dash in :27.76, edging teammate Lauren Fogarty (:28.09), and went on to take the 400-meter dash in :59.58.

    Aimee Schuh won the 100-meter hurdles in :16.67 and placed second in both the long jump with a 5.37-meter outing and the high jump with a 1.52-meter leap. Her long jump finished behind that of victorious teammate Andrea Crump, who won with a performance of 5.39 meters.

    Kristen McMurray won the hammer throw title with a heave of 46.73 meters, while Monique Bostert's toss of 41.68 meters was good for second place.

    Kellie Schuh and Stephanie Laidlaw went 1-2 in the pole vault, as Schuh won with a 3.05-meter showing. Laidlaw completed a pole vault of 2.74 meters.

    UIC took second overall in the eight-team field.

    The Flames return to action on April 4 at the Elmhurst Invitational hosted by Elmhurst College.
