Women's Track And Field Drops Three At UW-Milwaukee Tune-Up|

Milwaukee, Wis. - Senior throwing specialist Danielle Simpson picked up the University of Illinois at Chicago women's track and field team's lone victory on Saturday afternoon, as the visiting Flames dropped all three of their meets at the UW-Milwaukee Tune-Up at the Klotsche Center.
Simpson was triumphant with a winning heave and season-best mark of 49'8 in the weight throw. Junior Sara O'Mara finished just behind Simpson with a toss of 47'1 ?".
The Flames lost their meets to the host Panthers (82-55), Loyola (84-58) and Marquette (76-52).
Sophomore Jessica Fouche also picked up a pair of top-three finishes in the 200-meter dash (25.48, 2nd) and 55-meter dash (7.26, 3rd). Fouche also ran a leg of the second-place 4x400 relay team (4:02.2).
UIC will be back in action this weekend, as the Flames will travel to Indianapolis, Ind., to participate in the Horizon League Indoor Track and Field Championships on Friday and Saturday.
