NOTRE DAME, Ind. - Senior Andrea Crump ran a 7.79 in the 60-meter dash, while Martin Hunter collected a personal best in the 200-meter dash with a 22.45 mark during the two-day (Friday and Saturday) Meyo Invitational inside the Loftus Sports Center.

"It was another impressive performance by Andrea [Crump]," head coach Jim Knoedel said. "She continues to amaze me and I am beginning to believe she's as strong in the sprints as the triple jump. The women's distance medley relay ran against some of the best relay teams in the country and I couldn't be happier with a time that puts them at number three on our all-time list. Freshman Martin Hunter impressed me with a personal best in the 200-meter. He has a great future ahead, and our women's distance crew continues to improve and I think more school records are right around the corner."

Crump also competed in the triple jump where she hit a 11.73-meter mark to finish 16th. The women's distance medley relay finished eighth in 12:12.74 and was comprised of Jaime Johnson, Rebecca Zaiter, Emma Preston and Tess Ehrhardt.

The Meyo Invitational recorded seven meet records, including a sub-four-minute-mile (3:59.33) produced by Wisconsin's Austin Mudd.

The Flames return to action Feb. 8-9 at the Chicagoland Championships in Naperville, Ill., and the Grand Valley State Invite in Grand Rapids, Mich.
