    Kent, Ohio - Senior distance runner Jenni Goebel placed second overall in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 18:18.84 to lead the University of Illinois at Chicago women's track and field squad at the Doug Raymond Invitational, hosted by Kent State, on Saturday afternoon.

    The Flames also received a top-10 finish from senior thrower Danielle Simpson, who placed 10th in the weight throw with a heave of 46'11 ?".

    UIC will be back in action on Saturday, as they will travel to Romeoville, Ill., to participate in the Lewis Open at 9:00 a.m.
