    Charleston, Ill. - Senior Jenni Goebel crossed the finish-line of the 3,000-meter run with a fifth-place mark of 10:43.54 at the Eastern Illinois Mega Meet on Saturday afternoon.

    Freshman Susie Martinez finished right behind Goebel with a time of 10:56.

    UIC will be back in action on Saturday, as they will travel to Ohio to participate in the Kent State Open at 9:00 a.m. (CST).
