    2002 Highlights: Broke the indoor school-record in the long jump with a leap of 16”6’ at the UW-Milwaukee Pre-Conference Tune-up…shattered the indoor school-record in the triple jump (33”9 ½’) at the Horizon League Indoor Track and Field Championships…broke the school record and placed fifth in the triple jump (35”9 ½’) at the Horizon League Outdoor Track and Field Championships…finished second in the long jump at the UW-Milwaukee Open with a leap of 15”5’…won the triple jump title at the Chicagoland Championships with a mark of 35”6’…captured both the long jump (16”2 ¼’) and triple jump (34”9 ½’) titles at the UIC Invitational.

    Prep/Personal: Four-time state qualifier in the long jump…three-time state qualifier in the triple jump…placed eighth in the triple jump as a junior…placed fourth in the triple jump and ninth in the long jump in the state finals as a senior…garnered a career-best leap of 17-feet, ½ inch in the long jump as a junior…earned a career-best triple jump of 35-feet, 7-inches as a senior…qualified for the 2000 USATF National Junior Olympic Championships…two-time qualifier for the Illinois Prep Top Times Indoor championships…holds National Trail Conference record in the triple jump (34-feet, 10-inches)…selected as St. Anthony’s Most Valuable Runner for three consecutive years…named St. Anthony Most Valuable Field performer as a senior…daughter of Charles and Donna Schwerman…born on August 20, 1983…majoring in biochemistry and forensic science.
