    UIC Student-Athletes Record Another Record-Setting Semester

    Flames' student-athletes post 3.0 for back-to-back semesters

    Outdoor 2012: Set a personal-best time of :27.99 in the 200 at the Purdue Mike Poehlein Invite ... ran a career-best 100 time of :13.11 at the Chicagoland Championships ... notched a career-best triple jump mark of 10.41m at the DePaul Invite to place second.

    Indoor 2012: Placed second in the triple jump at the Dick Pond open with a leap of 10.32m.

    PREP AND PERSONAL: Three-time letterwinner in track at Simeon (Ill.) ... member of National Honor Society ... named team captain during her junior year ... all-city honor in her sophomore year ... born March 15, 1993, in Chicago, Ill. ... daughter of Sharlon Buntyn ... has four siblings ... currently enrolled as a pre-nursing major.
