Chicago, Ill. - The UIC women's tennis team opens the abbreviated fall season in familiar territory as they host the UIC Invitational at Flames Courts this weekend, September 19-21.

The 12-time defending Horizon League champions play host to numerous local foes, including Northern and Western Illinois, Chicago, Chicago State and Lewis. Competition will begin at 9 am each morning.

The following weekend, Shannon Tully and her squad head to perennial powerhouse Western Michigan for their annual Bronco Invitational, held September 26-28 in Kalamazoo, Mich. MAC competitors WMU and Eastern Michigan, as well as Marquette, DePaul, Purdue and Indiana State comprise the competition for the weekend.

The Flames close out the fall at the ITA Regional Championships, hosted by Michigan State in East Lansing on October 23-26.
