Chicago, Ill. - University of Illinois at Chicago senior Britta Dohmann was selected as the Horizon League Player of the Week for women's tennis, it was announced recently.

Dohmann was 3-0 in singles play at the Boise State Invitational, while going two-for-three in doubles play. Against Montana, Dohmann won 6-1, 6-1 in the No.3 singles slot, while teaming with Zvjezdana Malesevic to win the No.2 doubles match, 8-1. Against Boise State, the Flames struggled, as Dohmann picked-up the lone UIC win when her opponent retired. Versus Gonzaga, Dohmann defeated Sarah Williams at No.3 singles, 6-1, 6-2, following another doubles victory with Malesevic.

Dohmann and the Flames will have this weekend off before traveling to Green Bay, Wisconsin to take on league foes UW-Green Bay and UW-Milwaukee on Saturday, March 30.
