Chicago, Ill. - Lubica Nadasska was named the Horizon League women's tennis Player of the Week for the period ending March 11, the league office announced on Tuesday.

Nadasska was perfect in both singles and doubles play over the weekend, facing off against Illinois State on Saturday and Eastern Michigan on Sunday.

At the No. 2 singles position, Nadasska defeated Julia Zubkova of Illinois State, 6-3, 6-3. On Sunday, she clinched the match for the Flames with a 7-5, 7-5 victory over Eastern Michigan's Aditi Krishnan at the second singles slot.

The 2007 All-Horizon League First Team senior teamed up with Kristen McPhillips at No. 1 doubles to defeat ISU's Katri Miller/Veronique Parke-Bedard, 8-3, and EMU's Vanessa Frankowski/Catharina Bestehorn 8-6.

This is the second league honor of the year for Nadasska, who was recognized for her efforts at the ITA regionals in October.
