Chicago, Ill. - The UIC women's tennis team finished up play at the UIC Invitational on Saturday, where Ilinca Cristescu took home top honors in both singles and doubles for the Flames.

The sophomore defeated Chicago's Kendra Higgins, 6-3, 5-7, 11-9 for the A flight singles title, then paired up with Jenna Reisch to take doubles over Chicago State's Rubina and Mayasari in an 8-5 victory.

The Flames next head to Kalamazoo, Mich. for the Western Michigan Invite on September 26-28.
