Women's Tennis Aces UW-Green Bay And UW-Milwaukee For MCC Regular-Season Crown.

Chicago, Ill. - The UIC women's tennis team claimed its fifth consecutive Midwestern Collegiate Conference regular-season title on Saturday afternoon as they swept UW-Green Bay and UW-Milwaukee at Flames Courts. With the victories, the Flames (13-8) finished the year with a perfect 6-0 record in the MCC and will be the top seed at the conference tournament April 28-29, in Indianapolis, Ind. On Saturday, UIC opened the day with a 7-0 triumph over the visiting Phoenix. The Flames swept doubles play, then rolled through singles play with only Kim Harris' match at No. 4 going into three sets. Head Coach Mary Dailey's crew would then retain the conference crown as they rolled past UW-Milwaukee, 7-0, later in the afternoon. The Flames will warp up the regular-season with a non-conference match on Monday, April 23, as Valparaiso comes to Chicago to take on UIC at 2:30 p.m. Final Results UIC 7, UW-Green Bay Singles Results: No. 1 - Jacki Farr (UIC) def.
