    Cleveland, Ohio - The UIC women's tennis team remained spotless in Horizon league action over the weekend, defeating Youngstown State on Saturday and Cleveland State on Sunday, both by a count of 7-0.

    Neither match was close, as the Flames gave up only 11 games during singles action against the Penguins and just 10 versus the Vikings.

    Winning twice in singles action on the weekend were Nicole Derouin, Ayca Gumuscu, Corey Steven, Zvjezdana Malesevic, Molly Smith and Zorica Malesevic.

    Athanasia Giannoulopoulou entered the win column with a pair of wins at No.3 doubles with Zvjezdana Malesevic.

    The Flames now prepare for the Horizon League Tournament on April 25-27 in Indianapolis.
