Women's Tennis Sweeps Valparaiso April 12, 2008 Valparaiso, Ind. - The UIC women's tennis team picked up its fourth Horizon League win of the season on Friday, defeating Valparaiso 7-0. Weather conditions forced the match to be moved indoors to the MatchPoint Tennis Club, but the change in location did not hinder the Flames play. UIC swept through the doubles matches with ease, and took all singles matches in straight sets. This is the third league opponent that the Flames have swept, having defeated Green Bay and Youngstown State last week in similar fashion. The Flames will look to improve to 5-0 in league play with Sunday's match against Wright State. The match is scheduled for a 10 a.m. start in Valparaiso.
