    Chicago, Ill. - The UIC women's tennis team had its way with visiting Detroit on Friday, defeating the Titans, 7-0, to pick-up a Horizon League victory.

    The Flames won the doubles point by a combined score of 24-6 and gave up only six games in the singles portion of the match.

    Nicole Derouin beat Bianca Savarino, 6-1, 6-2 at No.1 singles, while Ayce Gumuscu downed Renee Kuzava, 6-0, 6-0 in the second hole.

    At No.3 singles, Corey Steven toppled Andrea Buter, 6-1, 6-0, while at No.4 singles Zvjezdana Malesevic beat Mandy Perzanowski, 6-0, 6-1.

    Rounding out the singles wins for UIC were Molly Smith in the fifth slot and Zorica Malesevic at No.6
