Green Bay, Wis. - It was the day before Easter and the University of Illinois at Chicago women's tennis team forced its opponents-UW-Green Bay and UW-Milwaukee-into laying a pair of eggs, winning the two matches by a combined score of 14-0 in Green Bay on Saturday. The Flames started off with the host Phoenix and grabbed the doubles point by taking all three matches. After Nicole Derouin and Ayca Gumuscu (No.1) and Zvjezdana Malesevic and Britta Dohmann (No.2) took their doubles matches handily, Alyson Stalzer and Karen Liwanpo battled Parks and Dworak of UW-Green Bay, eventually winning, 8-6. Derouin, Gumuscu, Dohmann and Liwanpo won the first four singles matches, while Zvjezdana and Zorica Malesevic won at No.5 and 6 in dominant fashion, 6-0, 6-0. UW-Milwaukee provided the afternoon challenge, and the Flames were up to it, winning 7-0. UIC won the doubles point without losing a game. Two more UIC players picked up singles victories against the Panthers, as Alyson Stalzer and Kim Harris entered the line-up and the Flames didn't miss a beat. Stalzer defeated Julie Heling in the No.5 slot, 6-0, 6-0, while Harris took care of Shauna Johnson, 6-0, 6-1 at No.6 singles. In all, each of the eight players on the UIC roster won a singles match on Saturday and the Flames gave up only 32 games on the day, including a paltry six games surrendered to UW-Milwaukee.
