Six-Match Winning Streak Snapped For Women's Tennis At Eastern Michigan

Ypsilanti, Mich.- The UIC women's tennis team had its six-match winning streak snapped on Saturday after falling to Eastern Michigan by a 5-2 count at the Chippewa Club.
UIC was unable to build off an early 1-0 lead after securing the doubles point. Christina Oum and Ulrikke von Ubisch were victorious at No. 2 doubles, while the team of Grace Gill-Morlis and Jenna Reisch captured victory at No. 3 doubles.
In singles play the Flames didn't have as much success. Lubica Nadasska won her fifth match in a row after defeating Aditi Krishnan at No. 2 singles in straight sets, 6-3, 6-1, but the Eagles took the rest of the singles slate to pull out the dual match win.
UIC hosts UW-Green Bay on April 1st at the UIC Outdoor Courts on the South Campus at 10:00 a.m.
