    Miamisburg, Ohio The University of Illinois at Chicago women's tennis team completed a clean sweep of their Horizon League doubleheader on Saturday, defeating Wright State, 7-0, at the South Regency Tennis Center.

    It was the second 7-0 league victory of the day for the Flames (6-4, 3-0 Horizon League), who spoiled the Horizon League opener for the Raiders (2-13, 0-1 Horizon League). UIC downed Cleveland State earlier in the day by the same count.

    Beatriz Cabrera led the way with her second singles win at No. 1 singles on the day, defeating Audra Beckett 6-0, 6-0. Ayca Gumuscu, Iris Jaklin, Corey Steven and Molly Smith pitched in with singles and doubles wins.

    Athanasia Giannoulopoulou chipped in her second singles victory of the day, while Christina Oum got in on the action with a doubles win with Smith.

    UIC has lost only one singles match in league play while going a perfect 9-0 on the doubles side in Horizon League action.

    The Flames return to action this Sunday at Cincinnati beginning at 10 a.m.
