    Kalamazoo, Mich. - The UIC women's tennis team traveled to Kalamazoo, Michigan on Friday afternoon, but couldn't buck the Western Michigan Broncos, as the Flames were downed, 5-2.

    Nicole Derouin and and Corey Steven recorded the lone singles win for UIC in the No.1 and No. 3 slots, respectively.

    That duo paired up to win the No.1 doubles match, as well, beating Melanie Peters and Malena Remnyse, 8-5.

    The Flames are back at it on Saturday, when they host Bowling Green at the Hyde Park Tennis Club at 10:00 a.m.
