Indianapolis, Ind. - The UIC women's tennis team was dominating against a Horizon League opponent, once again, as the Flames defeated Butler, 6-1, on Saturday in Indianapolis.

The Flames grabbed the doubles point, as Nicole Derouin and Corey Steven paired to win 8-2 over Christina Laun and Alaina Griffin. Molly Smith and Zorica Malesevic earned an 8-3 victory over Anie Gantz and Lisa Valle in the No.3 position to secure the point.

Derouin, Ayca Gumuscu, Steven, Smith and Zorica Malesevic each earned singles victories, as the Flames rolled to the win.

The Flames are back at it this weekend when they travel to Western Michigan on Friday with a match-up with the Broncos. On Saturday, UIC returns home to host Bowling Green.
