2004-05: All-Horizon League First Team selection after posting a career-high 19 singles wins...19-20 in singles play overall...12-12 in dual match singles...undefeated again in Horizon League singles with a 10-0 mark...10 wins in league play is career best...extended her active career winning streak in league singles dual match play to 27 matches...won her last seven singles matches before the NCAA Tournament, the team's best singles winning streak of the season...turned in huge 6-4, 6-3 win at No. 2 singles over Illinois' Brianna Knue to help the Flames to a near-upset on the road over the then-No. 33 Illini...went 17-20 overall in doubles throughout the year...12-10 in dual match doubles...perfect 9-0 league doubles record...entrenched at No. 2 doubles with Christina Oum where the duo went 12-8.

2003-04: Followed up Horizon League Newcomer of the Year campaign in 2003 with a splendid 17-12 overall singles record...went 14-6 in dual match singles action...led the team with a 9-0 league mark...earned All-Horizon League honors for the second straight season, making the All-League Second Team...teamed with Beatriz Cabrera to go 15-5, primarily at the top spot, in dual match doubles...went 20-9 overall in doubles action, with a 7-1 league record...went 5-5 in fall doubles with Sissy Giannoulopoulou...won her last seven singles matches, including two in the league tournament...led the second set 5-2 against Northwestern's Jamie Peisel at the NCAA Regional Championship before the match was suspended after the team decision was determined...was named Horizon League Athlete of the Week on March 4th after downing Laurel Clements of Butler in a 6-1, 6-3 win on Feb. 27th that marked her fifth win in her previous eight singles matches.

2002-03: Took home Horizon League Newcomer of the Year honors after finishing 17-12 at No. 2 singles for UIC, while teaming with Nicole Derouin at No. 1 doubles, earning a mark of 23-10 on the campaign...placed third at No. 2 singles in her UIC debut at the Bowling Green State Invitational, defeating Indiana State's Magda Narczewska, 6-2, 7-6 (2)...won 13 out her last 14 singles matches of the season...was undefeated in Horizon League play...captured 16 out her last 19 matches with Derouin at No. 1 doubles...along with Derouin, blanked UW-Milwaukee's Alyssa Halcomb and Margie van Lieshout, 8-0, on February 2nd.

Prep/Personal: Three-time singles champion in the state of Kansas...played for the junior world team and took the championship twice...was tops in the USTA in Kansas for eight years...four-time city, state and regional champion...took Kapaun Mount Carmel to the state championship in 2000 and 2001...was named freshman Academic Athlete of the Year...made it to the `Sweet 16' of the Winter Nationals (U18) in doubles in 2002...born May 31, 1984...daughter of Brad Steven and Andrea Cassel...major is biology.
