2000-01 Highlights: Came on at the end of the season to earn a spot in the Flames’ singles and doubles rotation, playing No. 4 singles and No. 2 doubles with teammate Alyson Stalzer...posted a 11-15 singles and 9-13 doubles mark during her junior campaign…was 4-5 in doubles with partner Stalzer, including a tough 8-2 loss to Northwestern at the NCAA Tournament...tallied back-to-back singles wins on four occasions during the regular season...her 11 singles wins was a single-season best...honored as the 2001 UIC Women's Tennis Student-Athlete of the Year and named to the Academic All-Conference Team.
1999-2000 Highlights: With teammate Alyson Stalzer at the No. 3 doubles position, went 2-0 at the MCC Championships, including an 8-5 win in the Flames’ 5-4 title victory over Butler…owned an 8-10 singles record and 14-20 doubles slate…competed in the main draw at the ITA Regional Championships in doubles, teaming with Nicole Derouin…also earned a spot in the qualifying draw of the singles championship.
1998-99 Highlights: Saw most of her action in doubles competition, compiling a 13-13 ledger when teaming with Karen Liwanpo...compiled a 9-10 singles record, but did not play after March 24...at the MCC Championships, staged a monumental comeback at No. 3 doubles, rallying from a 5-0 deficit to post an 8-5 victory over Lindsay Orth and Amy Steiner of Butler...with Liwanpo, she won six of her last seven doubles matches.
Prep/Personal: Four-year letterwinner that helped St. Charles High School to four state tournament appearances...an all-state, all-area, all-conference and academic all-conference selection...ranked 65th in the Western Section...team captain and MVP...Illinois State Scholar...listed in Who's Who Among High School Students...compiled a career singles mark of 99-32...daughter of Raymond and Brenda Harris...born November 7, 1979...majoring in chemistry.
