    2002-03 Highlights: Captured second-place at No. 5 singles in the Bowling Green Invitational after defeating both Bowling Green's Lindsey Mix (6-3, 6-2) and Indiana State's Samantha Yun (7-5, 6-2)...finished rookie campaign with a record of 4-7 in singles action...teamed with Zvjezdana Malesevic in doubles' action and finished with a mark of 8-3 on the season..finished season with a combined doubles record of 11-9.

    Prior to UIC: Transferred from Lee College in Baytown, Texas...competed at No. 2 doubles and No. 5 singles for Bay College...was second in the nation in both singles and doubles...pushed Lee College to a National Championship in 2002 and a runner-up finish in 2001...helped Lee College to the Southwest Junior College Tournament...took home the Southwest Junior College championship at No. 2 doubles and No. 4 singles...was named the student of the year in kinesiology and physical fitness...earned `Act Class' student honors for four semesters.
