Chicago, Ill. - The University of Illinois at Chicago swimming and diving squads have selected their captains for the upcoming season.

Leading the women's team is junior Stephanie Donovan, a native of Toronto, Ontario, Candada.

Selected to lead the men's squad is junior Enric Claret, another international student-athlete from Escalades-Engorany, Andorra.

The captain of the diving squads will be senior Michael Magee from Hinsdale, Illinois, who has enjoyed an outstanding career to this point.

Both UIC swimming and diving squads are looking for big things this season, trying to feed off their successful performances from last year's Horizon League Championships.

Both teams jump into the pool for the first time competitively on Saturday, October 26, when the Flames welcome Eastern Illinois to the UIC Natatorium at 2:00 p.m.
