CHICAGO, Ill.- The UIC women’s swimming & diving team earned a Spring Scholar All-America Team Award from the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) on Friday. The team earned the award for a strong academic showing for the spring semester.

The women’s squad earned a 3.30 grade point average as a team this past semester to earn the distinction from the CSCAA. The award is given to teams that collectively earn a 3.00 GPA or higher in a given semester.
