    CHICAGO- The UIC women’s swimming team was honored as a 2013 Fall Scholar All-America Team by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) on Wednesday. The CSCAA award is given out twice a year and requires a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher. The UIC women’s squad has a 3.09 GPA.

    A total of 147 women’s teams earned selection to the Division I Scholar All-America list.

    The women’s team recently concluded their season at the 2014 Horizon League Championship meet with a fifth-place finish, scoring 428 points throughout the four-day event.
