Chicago, Ill.- Eight UIC swimmers will represent the Flames in Friday night's finals session of the 2007 Horizon League Swimming & Diving Championships at the UIC Natatorium.

Courtney Eck (400 IM), Kelly Hyatt (100 fly), Ashley Simos (100 breaststroke), Andrea Giczewski (100 back) and Jessica Darud (100 backstroke) will represent the women's squad.

Representing the UIC men's team will be Mike Conroy (400 IM), Brenden Dougherty (100 breaststroke), and Andy Peterson (100 back).

In time trial action, Blake Booher broke his own all-time Horizon League record in the 50 free with a leadoff swim of :19.97 in the men's 200 free relay. He shattered his mark of :19.98 set at last year's championships.
