Chicago, Ill. - University of Illinois at Chicago diver Caitlin Carey was named the Horizon League Swimming and Diving Athlete of the Week for her performance at Cleveland State this past weekend.

Carey, a sophomore from Buffalo, N.Y. won the one-meter diving event (267.08) and the three-meter board (290.70), which were both good for season-highs.

Carey and the Flames host Valparaiso on Friday, February 7 at 5:00 p.m. at the UIC Natatorium for Senior Night.
