Evanston, Ill. - The UIC men's and women's swimming and diving squads quickly got back up on their horse on Sunday, following a pair of tight losses to Eastern Illinois on Saturday afternoon. Those horses led them to the Northwestern Relays on Sunday afternoon. The Flames, however, placed last on the men's and fourth of five teams on the women's side. Northwestern was victorious on the men's side with 220 points followed by UW-Milwaukee (168) and UIC (120). The Wildcats also captured the women's race with 202 points followed by Illinois (176), Indiana (158), UIC (104) and UW-Milwaukee (66). Highlights for the men's team include second-place finishes from the 300-yard butterfly (2:40.17), 300-yard breaststroke (3:01.89), 400-yard medley (3:38.49), and the 400-yard freestyle (3:43.13).
