Bloomington, Indiana - UIC sent three divers to the NCAA Zone C Diving Meet at Indiana University this past weekend. The top twelve divers in each event advance to the NCAA Championship meet.

UIC divers, however, saw their season come to an end as senior Charles Rock, sophomore Mike Magee and junior Andrea Bove fell short of the qualifying mark.

Rock placed 24th in the 1-meter competition with a score of 213.90 while Magee was 29th with a mark of 190.65. Indiana's Tom Davidson won the event with a score of 339.45.

Rock finished 23rd (222) in the 3-meter competition while Magee was 27th with a score of 201.55. Minnesota's Dan Croaston won the event with a score of 572.20.

Bove placed 35th in the 1-meter competition (168.55) and 40th in the 3-meter event (175.45). Ball State's Beth Clark won the 1-meter event with a score of 290.80 while Indiana's Erin Quinn won the 3-meter competition with a score of 508.95.
