Shannon Joseph and Andrea Bove represented the UIC Women's Diving Program March 10-12 at the NCAA Zone C Qualifying Meet in Minneapolis, Minn. The top finishers at the Qualifying Meet, hosted by the University of Minnesota, advance to the NCAA Championships later in the month. All three UIC divers qualified for the meet during the regular season.

Joseph placed 43rd on the one-meter dive at the Zone C meet with a score of 143.00 and 41st on the three-meter dive with a 178.95.

Bove placed 47th on the one-meter dive (122.40) and 32nd on the three-meter (190.10).

Both Joseph and Bove turned in outstanding performances two weeks earlier at the Midwestern Colleigate Conference Championship Meet in Cleveland, Ohio. Joseph was named the league's "Diver of the Year" after winning the MCC Championship on the three-meter and second on the one-meter.

Bove also fared well at the conference meet, finishing runner-up to Joseph on the three-meter and placing third on the one-meter. 47th with a 122.40.
