    Cleveland, Ohio- Senior Vanessa Segovia won the 200-yard individual medley in her final regular season meet, and Sarah Economides chipped in two victories on the diving boards as the UIC women's swimming and diving team downed Cleveland State, 129-103, at the Busbey Natatorium on Saturday.

    Segovia edged teammate Jessica Darud in the 200 IM, racing to a time of 2:14.20. The Brookfield, Ill. native and holder of the school's 400-yard version of the IM also placed second in the 500-yard freestyle (5:30.65).

    Economides took home the one-meter and three-meter diving wins, scoring a 278.85 in the one-meter event and a 234.43 in the three-meter competition.

    Kelly Hyatt continued to swim well in the late stages of the season, winning the 100 free in 53.69 and taking second in the 50 freestyle with a 24.91.

    Freshman Caitlin Sullivan also continued her late-season surge in the 200 free, turning in a second-place time of 2:00.46.

    The Flames return to action on February 23rd for the first day of the 2005 Horizon League Championships at the Schroeder YMCA in Milwaukee, Wis.
