    Swimming & Diving Highlight Season At Awards Banquet

    The UIC men's and women's swimming and diving teams held their annual awards banquet and brunch Sunday (April 9) at the Holiday Inn- Merchandise Mart Plaza, where they acknowledged the 2013-14 season achievements and named the 2014-15 captains.

    Diving Ends Competition at NCAA Zone C Championships

    UIC Divers Connor Howard, Tyler Pastore and Whitney Johnson brought their season to a close Friday, as they concluded the NCAA Zone C Diving Championships at Ohio State's McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion after competing in the men's and women's one-meter and three-meter.

    Connor Howard, Tyler Pastore and Whitney Johnson make their way to Columbus, Ohio, to compete at the 2014 NCAA Zone C Diving Championships, running Thursday through Saturday. Hosted by Ohio State, competition gets underway at 1 p.m. (CT) on Thursday at the McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion.

    Women's Swimming Team Named A CSCAA Fall Scholar All-America Team

    The UIC women's swimming team was honored as a 2013 Fall Scholar All-America Team by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) on Wednesday. The CSCAA award is given out twice a year and requires a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher. The UIC women's squad has a 3.09 GPA.

    Swimming & Diving Finishes Third, Fifth At Championships

    The UIC men's and women's swimming & diving teams closed out the Horizon League Championships at the Robert F. Busbey Natatorium Saturday with third- and fifth-place finishes, respectively. Kei Ishimaru was crowned champion in the 200 butterfly when he sped through in 1:47.95.
